Powercargo are proud to announce that we are sponsoring Zak O’Sullivan in this year’s FIA Formula 2 Championship.
Racing for the ART Grand Prix team, and racing under the flag of Great Britain, Zak is set for an exciting season, with eyes on the top of the 2024 leaderboard.
O’Sullivan started off car racing in the Ginetta Junior Championship back in 2019 where he placed second before achieving the same result in British F4 in 2020.
The following year he scored the top prize in the GB3 Championship before making his debut in FIA Formula 3 with Carlin back in 2022, with his podium scoring outing in Zandvoort proving to be the highlight.
He returned in 2023 with PREMA Racing and wound up second in the Drivers’ Championship, finishing the year with four victories. Before then moving to his current team where he will contest in one of open-wheeled motorsport’s greatest series – Formula 2.

With Formula 2 offering a stage for aspiring drivers to move onto Formula 1; and with Zak’s youth, talent and determination, anything is possible – and Powercargo are delighted to be joining him on this thrilling new challenge.
Zak will next be racing at Albert Park Circuit in Melbourne, Australia as the series moves onto round 3.
